The TV & Film Editing / Post Production Program will instruct students with Video and Film Editing, basic special effects and industry standard post production procedures. The course includes basic and advanced editing theory, industry terminology and Intensive Hours of "hands on" editing of a wide variety of video and film assignments. The course will cover basic to advanced editing from short-form daily content for social media platforms to long-form series; and sourcing and/or creating and adding graphics, voice, music, animations and special effects,
All students will manage material such as camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics and special effects to produce a final film or video product. This is a key role in the post-production process and each student's leaned skills and creativity will culminate in the delivery of a quality finished media product. The satisfactory passing of (hands on and written) tests are also required.
While enrolled in this course, students will Intern at First Power Media Group and earn professional IMDB Industry Credits by working on actual Film and Television Productions for Z Super Channel and its family of Television Networks. Z Super Channel broadcasts on the ROKU Platform in over 61+ Million Homes throughout the U.S. and in over 29 countries worldwide. IMDB is the standard Industry Media Data Base used by Hollywood Professionals. Students who successfully complete our program will be fully prepared to pursue a career in venues that include: Television Stations, Cable Television Networks, TV & Film Production Companies, TV & Film Post Production Facilities, Broadcast Environments, Houses of Worship, Multimedia Companies, Private Businesses and Corporations. Our classes are fully "hands on" and are taught by working Media Professionals in a creative learning environment. Students learn basic and advanced principles, operation and applications as a Camera Operator and TV/Film Video Editor. Class sizes are limited to ensure maximum learning and individual attention in a professional learning environment.
Lab Projects and Business Etiquette Training for Employment preparation are also required.
