The TV & Film Production Program will prepare each student to obtain in-depth knowledge of Television and Film Production and Camera operations, standards and procedures. To ensure each student’s acquisition of knowledge and prepare them for professional employment upon successful completion of our program, our TV & Film Production Program consists of 2 Courses: TV & Film Production and TV & Film Editing / Post Production classes. This program immerses each student with learning theory, industry terminology and Intensive Hours of physical “Hands On” Training and industry procedures in order to prepare each student for work as a professional Camera Operator and also as a professional Video Editor in a real world environment.

As a Camera Operator all students will train to be responsible for capturing and recording all aspects of a scene for film or television using a variety of technical equipment, including single and multiple portable cameras, remote-control and electronic cameras, cranes and mobile mountings, to capture live action for TV, film, commercials and other visual broadcasts. Students will also learn to properly choose, assemble and set up equipment. They use principles of lighting, staging, focusing and filtering to achieve a specific visual look for broadcast television or motion pictures.

While enrolled in this course, students will Intern at First Power Media Group and earn professional IMDB Industry Credits by working on actual Film and Television Productions for Z Super Channel and its family of Television Networks. Z Super Channel broadcasts on the ROKU Platform in over 61+ Million Homes throughout the U.S. and in over 29 countries worldwide. IMDB is the standard Industry Media Data Base used by Hollywood Professionals to hire Cast and Crew. Students who successfully complete our program will be fully prepared to pursue a career in venues that include: Television Stations, Cable Television Stations, TV & Film Production Companies, TV & Film Post Production Facilities, Theaters, Broadcast Environments, Houses of Worship, Multimedia Companies and Corporate Offices. Our classes are fully "hands on" and are taught by working Media Professionals in a creative learning environment. Students learn basic and advanced principles, operation and applications as a Camera Operator and TV/Film Video Editor. Class sizes are limited to ensure maximum learning and individual attention in a professional learning environment. Lab Projects and Business Etiquette Training for Employment preparation are also required.

The TV & Film Editing / Post Production Program will instruct students with Video and Film Editing, basic special effects and industry standard post production procedures. The course includes basic and advanced editing theory, industry terminology and Intensive Hours of "hands on" editing of a wide variety of video and film assignments. The course will cover basic to advanced editing from short-form daily content for social media platforms to long-form series; and sourcing and/or creating and adding graphics, voice, music, animations and special effects,

All students will manage material such as camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics and special effects to produce a final film or video product. This is a key role in the post-production process and each student's leaned skills and creativity will culminate in the delivery of a quality finished media product. The satisfactory passing of (hands on and written) tests are also required.
