RISE Media Business and Technical Training School was created for the purpose of providing a world class education as a non-profit career training school. Our primary focus is to inspire hope, build character and empower today’s youth, young adults to make a positive change by gaining control of their future as we provide them with a “hands on” approach in the instruction of a variety of Media related career fields. We also embrace Military Veterans who are seeking to embrace a whole new career field after retirement. Our career courses are mainly based in Media related fields that include: Recording Studio Audio Engineering, Audio Engineering for Theater & Live Event Venues, Television and Film Production, TV and Film Post Production, Audio Video Over Internet Protocol (AVoIP) Technology, Licensed Drone Pilot Operator and Security Systems Installation Technician. Additional career field courses include Carpentry and Business Office & Administrative Aide skills.

The goal of our program is to identify youth who are going to have a turbulent transition to adulthood and offer a positive support system in order to avoid the pitfalls that can derail their lives. Our focus is slightly different at each level. At the elementary school level (in our "KIDS IN SHOWBIZ" Workshops), our mentors strive to guide children and preteens and reinforce basic learning skills by integrating on camera acting, choreographed dance and music and song recording with class activities that math, reading, history, science and etiquette.

With middle and high school students as well as young adults, RISE provides career training along with mentors that serve as developmental role models for young people looking for direction. Sometimes it is as easy as a young person identifying with his Mentor and creative Career Training Instructors rather than choosing to be involved in criminal or destructive activities.

At Rise Training School, we immerse our students in intensive hands on learning but in a fun yet creative environment!

Once a student has entered high school with a history of classroom disturbances and/or poor academic skills (or the Juvenile or Adult Justice System) it takes a tremendous proactive effort to assist a that person in redirecting their lives. In order to destroy the negative factors that can turn a student or young adult off to school, RISE has found that group activities learning a career field that they enjoy - along with reinforcing learned educational skills as well as job Interview preparation, business etiquette do's and dont's and mentoring helps to also provide focus, self-confidence and hope for our students in a positive direction so that they can achieve a bright future and a successful career.

Lab Projects and Business Etiquette Training for employment preparation are also required and included in our program so that at the completion of the course, all students are fully prepared for employment, a professional presentation and job readiness with total confidence.

RISE Training School offers transitioning Military Service Members and retired Veterans professional career training to help them successfully transition to a new and rewarding career. To meet the training and employment needs of Veterans, we offer tailored Media Training Courses and Employment Services which allows for Veterans with significant barriers to employment find jobs for which their selected Media & Technical Training Course make them qualified and attractive candidates.

Our Training Classes are Certificate Programs where maximum emphasis is placed on meeting the employment needs of Veterans who are economically or educationally disadvantaged, including homeless Veterans and those with barriers to employment. Our class sizes are limited to ensure a maximum "hands on" learning environment with individual attention given to our students. Lab Projects and Business Etiquette Training for employment preparation are also included so that at the completion of the course, all students are fully prepared for employment, a professional presentation and job readiness with total confidence.

Audio, Video and Computer Technology drives 80% of today's media including television, video on demand, streaming television, the internet, indoor and outdoor advertising, all forms of entertainment and social media platforms. This is what also drives the attention and enthusiasm of today's youth and young adult generation. This is what they love to do: engage in video, audio and computer technology during their leisure time - whether it's thru their cell phone, tablet or laptop computer and this is what many of today's youth also love to do as a chosen career field. Because audio, video and computer technology drives 80% of today's media, these forms of media (as well as new future forms to come) will continue to be important technologies that will be in high demand and in need of highly skilled technicians Multimedia Technicians.

Our goal is to instill strong employment skills, create a professional work ethic, and inspire our students to leave our program having total confidence in themselves -- being able to obtain employment and a successful career in the Audio, Video, Security, Construction and/or Office Administrative field anywhere in the world!
