KIDS IN SHOWBIZ / RISE TRAINING SCHOOL

RISE TRAINING SCHOOL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Rise Training School participates in a wide variety of Community Activities each year in support of our Community and the people who live in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia areas. Some of our Community Outreach Activities include:

  • URBAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE:  We are currently recruiting for Inner City Youth and Young Adults ages 16-28 to join the Urban Basketball League. For more information, please go to the link on this website titled, "Urban Basketball League."
  • COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION DAY:  Rise Training School and our Students also participate in Community Beautification Day activities (planting flowers, trees and community clean-up / trash remediation services) in an effort to keep our neighborhood area clean and beautiful. If you would like to join us and participate please call us at 301-244-5174.
  • HOT CHOCOLATE AND WARM CLOTHING DRIVE:  We have also created and organize several yearly Clothing Drives to collect warm winter clothes for the Homeless. In addition, Rise Training School has created and participates in our Community Outreach Program where we give out Hot Chocolate, Warm Blankets and Warm Clothing on cold winter nights to the Homeless! Please call us to donate or drop off your clothing, blankets, hot chocolate and other vital supplies to help us in this much needed endeavor! Thank you!
